Pihlajalinna’s dental clinics transferred to Hammas Hohde Oy

The oral health operations of Pihlajalinna were sold to Hammas Hohde Oy at the end of March. The sale consisted of 16 clinics and around 200 oral health professionals, which will be transferred to Hohde at the beginning of April 2023. The sale was part of a simplification process of Pihlajalinna’s business structure. The oral health contracts of our contract customers for dental services were transferred to the new owner in the sale.

We will continue to provide oral health services to our customers through a close partnership model with Hohde. This also means that the clinics transferred to Hohde will remain in our premises as they are currently located. Hohde’s expertise and efforts in oral health services will further improve the national supply for our occupational healthcare clients, as an example.

The sale does not change the dental care benefits for our occupational healthcare customers, and Pihlajalinna’s occupational healthcare customers can still enjoy the familiar benefits at Hohde’s clinics. Our occupational healthcare customers will receive their first dental examination for free, as well as a 15% discount on dental hygienist services.

Once Pihlajalinna’s dental clinics have been transferred to the Hohde Group, Hohde will operate in over 33 offices with a staff of around 500 professionals in 21 locations.
